Under-sink water filtration in San Diego. Better water right at the kitchen tap.
Under-sink filtration puts targeted treatment exactly where you need it: at the kitchen tap and the refrigerator line. For households that already have whole-house filtration for chloramine and hardness, an under-sink system adds a final polishing stage that removes any remaining taste compounds, sediment, or dissolved contaminants before the water reaches your glass. For households without whole-house treatment, an under-sink system is an effective entry point for clean drinking water. We install multi-stage systems that are matched to what your water actually contains.

What do homeowners ask about Under-Sink Filtration?
What is the difference between under-sink filtration and reverse osmosis?
Under-sink filtration removes chloramine, taste compounds, sediment, and specific contaminants using carbon and specialty media. Reverse osmosis adds a membrane stage that also removes dissolved solids including sodium, nitrates, heavy metals, and PFAS. RO produces higher purity water but is more expensive and wastes some water. We recommend based on your water test results.
Will I need a new hole drilled for the dedicated faucet?
Most kitchen sinks have an existing knockout hole used for a soap dispenser or vegetable spray that works perfectly for the dedicated faucet. If not, we drill one. It is a straightforward step and we handle it during the install.
How often do under-sink filters need to be replaced?
Carbon cartridges typically need replacement every six to twelve months depending on water usage and your feed water quality. We set a reminder schedule at install. Running a filter past its service life reduces effectiveness, so staying on schedule matters.
Can an under-sink filter remove PFAS?
Some can. Certain catalytic carbon and specialty media are certified for PFAS reduction, but not all carbon filters are. If PFAS is a concern based on your water test, we specify NSF/ANSI 58 or 53 certified media rated for PFAS, or recommend an upgrade to reverse osmosis.

They did a free in-home water test before quoting anything, and the numbers were pretty eye-opening for tap water I'd been drinking for years. The whole-house system they installed uses a stainless steel tank, which the other company I called didn't even offer. Everything has been running clean for four months now.
I was hauling 40-pound salt bags every few weeks and it was getting old fast. They explained the salt-free system and how it handles the hardness without adding sodium to the water. No bags, no brine tank, no maintenance headaches, and the scale on my fixtures has not come back.
My daughter has eczema and her skin would flare up badly every winter. A friend mentioned soft water might help, so we had Filter Pros come out. They tested our water first and walked us through exactly what we were dealing with. A few weeks after the softener was in, her flare-ups got noticeably better and her dermatologist was glad to hear we made the change.
